You know the reasoning, now know the science behind it.

WHY DO KIDS NEED MUSIC?

MUSIC IS THE LANGUAGE OF THE BRAIN

"You would have probably heard that music will enhance your learning capabilities,…..yes it is true.......ACTUALLY music does much more than that.

Music is actually the driving force behind all other learning.   If you are a parent who would like to understand the function of music and its benefits; or if you are an educator who is very keen to understand the actual benefit of introducing music to children,  and why it is the language of the brain...this is the workshop for you.

You know the reasoning:

Now understand the science behind it - from the view point of a parent, teacher and musician.

This powerful workshop demonstrates:

• How your brain works
• How music enhances the development of the brain’s critical neurobiological systems
• Why music plays such an integral role  in enhancing better performance in schools
• See how and why ‘at risks’ students who engage in musical activities improve rapidly in their self esteem, confidence, leadership role and overall school performance.
• How music helps memory and increases learning ability, such as increasing memory and saving learning time. Which type of music children and adults should be listening to
• How to get your kids involved in music.
• How to gain the overall ADVANTAGE.

Use this knowledge from the workshop to enhance the learning capabilities of your child/children/grandchildren/students and even yourself.

Even if your child is already learning an instrument or instruments, join us in this workshop to find out WHY "music" actually enhances the learning ability of your child and what type of music will yield the maximum benefit.

As an adult, do you feel that from time to time…your "Brain" may be overloaded? If you feel you constantly are not achieving as much as you would like.....You can improve this by introducing music into your day to day routine. After a while you will find your productivity will improve, your memory will increase and you will also experience improvement in health and well being.

BUT which type of music should you listen to? All this.... will be discussed in the workshop.

This is a very powerful workshop, prepared and presented by Dr. Christobel Llewellyn. Dr Christobel Llewellyn is a highly educated and entertaining speaker when it comes to music.  She was taught by great minds including Leonard Bernstein and Isador Goodman. Dr. Llewellyn has spent all her adult life teaching music and has many years of teaching experience behind her. Some feedback from Dr. Llewellyn:

“I taught an autistic boy piano and in 3 years he lost his diagnosis.  He's really obsessed with music so he's still a bit out there but it's given him a life.   His mum doesn't have to medicate him at all.   The doctors can't explain it.

Also, another boy who had a problem with his left hand.  A few months ago, I bumped into his mum at the tuck shop.  She told me that he had a stroke at birth and has not been able to use his left side for much.  He now plays with both hands (it took a year!!) and after visiting his old doctor in Germany, they were told he had made a full recovery.  His brain had entirely re-grown!!!  They had travelled the world to first diagnose him then work out what could be done to improve his condition......he doesn't have a condition any more.”
