GO KIDS EDITION OF “THE MAGICAL SCARECROWS” in conjunction with The Magical Scarecrows
Calling all aspiring writers!! If you have been thinking of writing and getting your work publisehd, this is IT! Write your own Magical Scarecrows story for GO KIDS! for the chance to have your creative story and illustration published.
How to go about it? Procedures: (1) Draw your favourite animal with one of the ** Magical Scarecrow characters pictured below and write a 150 word story.
Note: You do not need to know the actual stories of The Magical Scarecrows to write your story, although obviously this would be an advantage as you’d better understand the feel for Magical Scarecrows stories. You can select any of the characters below, for example you might select the character of The African Magical Scarecrow. So your story could be about The African Magical Scarecrow and an animal of your choice, for example a butterfly....Therefore you can write an imaginative story about the butterfly and The African Magical Scarecrow........
We will then produce a compilation book with 50 of the best pictures and stories with full credit to you for your picture and story in:
How to Submit the Story? (2) Pictures/Images must be scanned and emailed as a JPG attachment with your 150 word story no later than 30th July, 2009. Use our electronic form to enter. Pictures will be produced in black and white, with one selected for colour reproduction on the cover.
