Egyptian Antiquities from the Louvre is a major new international exhibition opening at the Art Gallery of South Australia in March 2007. Over two hundred precious objects will be on show in the first exhibition to come to Australia from the Louvre in almost two decades.

The Musée du Louvre is home to the world's largest and most outstanding collection of Egyptian Antiquities. This unprecedented exhibition presents a unique opportunity for Australians to see the treasures of one of history's greatest civilisations, from one of the world's greatest museums, without leaving home.
