About the Speakers:
Ms. June Woodward
June is going to demonstrate the usefulness of Alexander Technique for children in everyday activities such as playing an instrument, singing, acting or sport. The Technique can help develop their skills in all these areas. It teaches consciousness in everyday life and to free the body of unnecessary tension. The Technique is based on a few simple and fundamental principles. Parents and Children will have a greater appreciation of posture and how to move more easily and efficiently after this session.
Children who play instruments are encouraged to bring along their instruments.
June is a professional musician, has played in orchestras including the Sydney and Adelaide Symphony Orchestras and has studied the Alexander Technique in Australia, USA and Europe.
