| Australian Butterfly Sanctuary |
A trip to Tropical North Queensland is incomplete without a visit to the internationally acclaimed Australian Butterfly Sanctuary.
Your visit to the Sanctuary will bring you face to face with them all. Here you'll meet the largest of our butterflies... that gentle giant, the huge, brilliantly coloured fluoro-green Cairns Bird wing. And you'll meet our truly magnificent star - the dazzling, flashing, electric-blue Ulysses - considered by many to be the unofficial emblem of the "North".
The beguiling behaviour of the butterflies as they flit about, fluttering and flirting as well as their tendency to land on brightly coloured clothing has always delighted young and old alike. So for your visit, wear something bright (we recommend red or white) and let those butterflies indulge their fancy to flutter and flirt and fuss over you.
Meeting point and supplier's details are provided immediately after booking.
