The author of The Magical Scarecrows, Lynn Santer (Auntie Lynn) and GoKids are giving all our members a wonderful opportunity to have their work published in a book.

Children up to and including 13 years of age are invited to contribute to a special
 

GO KIDS EDITION OF 

“THE MAGICAL SCARECROWS”

 

If you have been thinking of writing and getting your work published, this is IT!

Write your own Magical Scarecrows story for GO KIDS!

 for the chance to have your creative story and illustration published.

 

Procedures:

(1) Draw your favourite animal with one of the Magical Scarecrow characters and write a 150 word story. We will then produce a compilation book with 50 of the best pictures and stories with full credit to you for your picture and story in:

“The Magical Scarecrows GO KIDS Collection”
to be released November, 2009.

(2) Pictures/Images must be scanned and emailed as a JPG attachment with your 150 word story no later than 30th July, 2009. Winners notified via email by 30th August, 2009.

Pictures will be produced in black and white, with one selected for colour reproduction on the cover.

Entry fee is AUD$10.00 per entry
